The End

Well I managed to complete the walk without any untoward incidents and I am shortly to go on a well deserved hoilday. It is now up to you. I need all those pledges to come to fruition and if they are all honoured I should have raised at least £2000-00. Many thanks to you all.
Could you please make any cheques out to the Lodge of Remembrance 6188 and I will issue one cheque from the lodge and I confirm that a list of lodges and their contibutions will be included with the cheque so that it will count to your individual targets.

Day 6

Well the final day has arrived. Starting at Surbiton with a send-off from Colin Palmer.

Day 5

With a spring in my step today I set off from Chertsey for 'home-from-home' Surbiton. It felt good to be walking a more familiar route and of course the sun was shining on me. I even overtook the support car!

Day 4

Today was due to be a tough day - just over half way through with a long day after yesterday's miles. But there was company to be had in the form of the Admin Support Team who were allowed out for the day.

We hope you're observing the speed limits, Harry.

Made good time to the first stop of today: Bisley Masonic Centre where the welcoming committee was waiting. But no time to hang about. Onwards!

First stop of the day, Farnham Masonic Centre, a.k.a "No. 42"

Day 2

Well, after resting the feet overnight it was on with Day 2.

Leaving Cranleigh in the drizzle the first stop was the Guildford Masonic Centre, where Adrian Lilley was waiting outside the gates. He had kindly arranged for the chef to be on site to offer a very welcome freshly made bowl of soup for lunch. A refreshing change to the cereal bars and bananas eaten en route!

Anthony Machin joined the second leg of the Walk onto Godalming.

Destination achieved and another day successfully completed although there appeared to be no sign of the Support Car driver. What's that Lawrence, you got lost and drove past us 3 times?!

Good job Harry knows where he's going...

Day 1

Well everything went okay, it was a little harder than I was expecting, but so far so good and rain didn't stop play. Arrived safely at Cranleigh, time now to put my feet up and get ready for Day 2!
